Opportunity Overview

Development of Jaber Border Crossing

The Jaber Border Crossing Development Project will redevelop, modernize, operate, and maintain Jordan’s principal land border gateway to Syria. As an active brownfield site with a long history of continuous operation, the crossing serves as a critical regional trade and transport hub. The 30-year PPP project includes a 3-year construction phase, which will be implemented while maintaining uninterrupted passenger and cargo operations, followed by the operation and maintenance of the facility for the remainder of the concession term. The crossing’s long operating history provides a robust foundation for demand forecasting, risk assessment, and investment planning.
